Let's begin re-humanizing our return to work by replacing social distancing with physical distancing. We want to stay physically separate but remain socially connected.
This was a moment I did not chose. It forced me to experience my emotions during a live webinar. It was embarrassing and awkward at the time but so valuable and needed. Ironically, I received numerous responses of support and thanks for allowing myself to be human, for a moment.
You may feel a slight relief as we leave quarantine and return to work. The other shoe or shoes have yet to drop. There are a pivot mindset and a return to the way it was mindset. Only one of those will survive.
Consider Well-Being as a portfolio of assets that include health, relationships, happiness, financial stability, and intellectual acuity. Our portfolios have taken a hit. When we return to work, employers will have to infuse social capital to restore our accounts.
